Digital painting class 9

I really liked the results from this class.
The pictures are from DVD stills. The first 2 took 15-20 minutes, and the last an hour. I liked the way it came out. I hope that one day I might add more detail, but I'm happy with what I got done in the amount of time. It was easier to use Photoshop this time.

Warm-ups

I got the idea from Joey Mason. He draws a car for 15-20 minutes each day to get warmed up before taking on the real projects he's working on. So I tried, and it sucked half as much as I thought it would. I still hate drawing cars, and anyone that is good at drawing them. The other warm-up is one I like to do where I just take faces from a magezine and draw it with a ballpoint pen, no pencil lines. It keeps the rest of the art I'm doing that day less sketchy.

X-23

This was for a class I took on covers and pin-ups. Its X-23, and it could still use colors and clothes. I had to draw it this way to get it right. Still working on it a little.

Elves

You know what the heck, elves. Sometimes you gotta draw elves, and sometimes you gotta draw them with their shirts off.

Conan

I've been reading the comic lately, and thought I'd try a few. Well cuz Conan kicks ass and the art in the comic does too.
