My Precious.

There's a story that goes along with this. The long version includes Twihards, Transformers and  Triceratops fighting to save the planets from eco-terrorists. The short version involves me dripping a bunch of watercolor, and drawing my son, Timjan.

My daughter was painting next to me, splashing little drops of color on my drawing. No biggie. She now has a mole on her 4head.
WIP. Soon to be another drawing of Timjan. I'm working my way up to start a painting of him. We all have one except him. Poor lil guy.

People, places, and or things.

Drawings from coffee shops, airports and jail. No I'm kidding, none of these are from coffee shops. All were drawn with a pencil , and painted with watercolors. Except those without color. They were painted with clear color.
The middle girl and the guy on the left were from an airline magazine. The rest are real people eye saw with my own 2 eyes and 9 fingers.

I drew these with my right hand. Whats left of it.

Small Watercolors

There is this awesome painter Nathan Fowkes that does all these amazing little watercolors from life. So I tried to do the same technique he talks about on his blog. Except in the snow and not as awesome results.

Each are around 3x5

Sven Portrait

In Sweden on your last day of work you get.....a portrait.
Well I'm happy with some of the colors. I tried to use as much color theory as I could. There's a few things I'd like to fix but its gone now. Thats what you get for doing something the day its due. No time to make changes.

Artist Trading Card Attack HIYAAAA!!!

These are those Artist Trading Cards that are all the rage with the kids in Somalia. Its a way to spread the love. Kinda like STDs. Its the whole reason the terrorists want to take away our freedom. Because we are free to make ATCs whenever and where ever with who ever you want. If you don't know what a Artist Trading Card is, then use the interslope and check'em out.

Solar powered

There was a town meeting on solar power here in Smedjebacken. I went because that means there will be free models, and I had some unused space in my watercolor sketchbook. The sketch on the left is from 2008. The 2 on the left are from today.

Watercolor 3

I'm still trying to learn watercolor, and this is one of my attempts. I think a stronger drawing would have helped, but I was real surprised how the color came out.

More to come.

In the next 100 years.
