Sarah_Isabella

The most beautiful artwork I ever created, and the painting isn't that bad either.

My wife will take pictures of our daughter each day and load them on our computer. Its a surprise to see what they were up to during the day, and what new images I have to draw or paint from.

Critiques welcome!

That's awesome i love the colors in the in the face especially in the shadows: the sienna and pinks play beautifully off each other.

my only criticism is that the hair looks a bit green. you can use a rag and just wipe off some of the dark paint before working over it with the highlight. or get a silicone brush, it would act as a mini squeegee and you can remove the paint in lines... its really handy for hair...

Great critique and thanks for the technique on hair
Maybe my camera added a little green in the hair or its an illusion but I never used green in this painting. At least not in the hair.

Nice try Gabriel! There is NO WAY you spent 8 hours making Sarah-Isabella. Your wife said it was a minute and a half, TOPS!

(Nice painting, though.)

Since technically I have a degree in design and "studied" aesthstic criticism, worked for 10 years as a "professional" artist, and since I'm still your big brother I can honestly say.......that painting is beautiful......I wonder how amazing it would have been if you hadn't lost your finger in that freak suppository accident.
